The management of Clare World Music Festival meet about once a month at
The Bell Hotel in Clare.
Meetings are open to the public, and we welcome anyone who is interested
to attend, either to just listen, or to put forward views and
suggestions during 'any other business'.
Meetings are minuted and can be viewed by clicking the links on the
left.

Presently the management consists purely of volunteers who
organise and coordinate all aspects of the festival within the guidelines
we have set ourselves with our mission statement.
During the week of the festival itself, we rely heavily on the help
provided by friends, family and local people in setting up, running
and clearing down of the festival site.
We are constantly in need of help in this task, however
large or small. To put things in perspective:
It takes around 15 people to work the bar (3 hours each),
10 people to work the gate, (2 hours each).
20 people the day before to set up the site (4 hours each),
20 people the day after to take down (4 hours each),
Other tasks include putting up and taking down signs, managing car
parking, catering for sponsors and bands, stage management, stage
dressing, to name a few.
One of our biggest, but possibly least obvious problems is coordinating
all these helpers, and having firm commitments from helpers as to who is
going to turn up, to do what, and when. If you would like to help us in
