1 The meeting was called specifically to discuss the 11th Dec gig
2 Donation
Overhearing our discussions in the bar about the A board (Howard had it !) a donor, wishing to remain anonymous, handed over £30 cash to have it sign written
3 Ticket pre-sales for the December 11th gig were discussed.
After a round up of team's forecasted sales we estimated 60 tickets sold or promised to date, generally thought to be excellent progress at this stage
4 Comps - all to be marked up "COMP" at both ends of back. Halves to be retained at the door and kept. Paul given two each to Printer and Florists. DF given two to a previous sponsor of the festival.
5 Front of House
Steve & Nick met with Mick from SASEX who are building a night club canopy on the front entrance of TH and providing lighting. Audi providing two cars for the pavement.
Dave and Martin will do the ticket collection and on the door sales - Big Ray is "security" SVT suggested Dinner Jackets for these three - not universally popular !
6 Sponsorship
Nic advised that Vindis had given £700 to sponsor Gig
No word from Sue on sponsorship.
7 Bar
ST reported Bar License received but "knocked back" to 11pm
ST has ordered beer and wine from Nethergate, would sell Alchopops stock from festival as still in date. Glasses a problem at the moment but would be solved. Soft drinks from Sainsbury's
8 Food
Brian and Pam proposing hamburgers and hotdogs. SVT suggested instead they roasted Pork joints in advance and served that in rolls with apple sauce - much easier and more Christmassy. ST since spoken to Pam about this. Told them to cater for 100 punters and feed the bands, Max Spend £100 likely take £200 (100@£2ea)
9 Bands
Paul S taking care of Bands logistics, accommodation and Sound but needs Hall from early afternoon for set up and Flowers SR to check with Sherry about booking times
10 Publicity
Leaflets all done and more. Just Howard had some left to do. SVT to go to Cannon with posters (now done). Martin & Dave did windscreens on Sale Day. Focus carried ad. CCA a bit miffed we have stolen their Ska thunder but offered to make the 11th their Christmas bash if we reciprocate. All heartily agreed. DF to make contact. See subsequent Emails. SVT has had gig advertised in Jazz Nights(web Mag) Two Road signs up - thanks to Howard.
11 Raffle
Sherry and Sheila to liase on the raffle - do the usual round get maybe 6 prizes MAX First prize is free weekend hire of brand new Audi A4 (subject to driver limitations)
12 SVT thanked everyone for attending at short notice and for positive "can-do" attitude.

NEXT MEETING 7TH DECEMBER 2004.
