LOCAL TEAM WIN F3 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
It has been a good year for local Formula Three team ‘Fluid Motorsport’. Not only did their talented driver Jay Bridger win the National title but they also won the coveted National team prize.
This is a remarkable result for a team that was founded only four years ago and has had to compete against much larger and more established teams. Now they have their sights on the International Championship and with the recent signing of the talented Clare teenager Ben Barker they have high hopes for the future.
Motor racing is perhaps the ultimate sport. It has the excitement, colour, vitality and style that draws huge crowds, both at trackside and on television.
The sport is also very expensive with hundreds of thousands of pounds being spent each year on building and running a fully competitive car.
Teams like Fluid motorsport rely heavily on external funding and they are always looking for sponsors to help support them and their successful bid for further honours in the sport
If your business is going places then think of the benefits of associating your brand with the high-energy world of motor sport.
There are many ways that businesses can help sponsor the team whether it is with a large contribution or a small one. If you are interested then contact Clare
Jay said “before I joined Fluid Motorsport I was struggling to win races. Now with their support I am National Champion”. “The team have been fantastic. Most people don’t realise just how much this sport is a team game. Everyone needs to work together if you want success and that is one of the great strengths of this team”

Following on from their brilliant 2008 season in F3 the Fluid Motorspot team have now signed local teenager Ben Barker as their second driver and he will compete in the Formula Ford and F3 race season for 2009.

Ben, who lives in Station road is no stranger to the racing scene as his mother has had a life long passion for motor racing and has raced and worked at the legendary Nuremberg Ring in Germany. His father is also a keen enthusiast and travels the world buying and selling luxury cars.

With this pedigree it is no surprise that Ben was driving Karts at an early age and his talent was soon recognised. By stepping up to Formula Ford and F3 he is fulfilling a lifetime ambition. Like Jay he is looking forward to the 2009 season and more wins for the Fluid Motorsport team.
Fluid Motorsport are the 2008
National F3 Champions and with
their lead driver Jay Bridger
they are one of the most
successful teams in the country.
Now this local team has been
strengthened with the addition of the talented driver from Clare
Ben Barker. Ben has high hopes that he can match the success of Jay
in the 2009 season and with the
expect guidance of Jay and that of
team Principal and Chief Designer
Lindsay Allen he is a young
man certainly going places.
