Headlining Paul Cox's Soul Intention with London Community Gospel Choir Dhol Foundation, Baka Beyond, and Worx FM |
The headline band that year was Paul Cox's Soul Intention. A seven piece Soul and R&B band from the deep south (of the Thames). This band proved a great success and with their ending piece with the Sheffield Community Gospel Choir leading into the Grand Finale Firework display, the day finished on the very highest of notes. |

| Paul Cooper opened the Festival and compared for the whole day, closing with a countdown to the Grande Finale of Fireworks. |

The First ever band to play at a Clare World Music Festival were Worx-FM, a reggae blues band who were so good that we invited them back the following year. | |
Next on stage were The Dhol Foundation. A virtuoso North Indian Drum troupe with dancers, mixing ancient and modern. |

Later came Baka Beyond with music of African influences with a Celtic twist, and
Leon, a Cambridge favourite playing dance music featuring jungle and hip hop. Resident DJ Nelson Dilation filled in during the whole day spinning his unique blend of global acoustic crossover in the UK. |
